While Chittenango put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Cortland. The Bears were the clear victors by a 24-0 margin over the Purple Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Purple Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Julia Spencer was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Spencer was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Hannah Machan was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. Alivia Cavotta was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4.
