Volleyball Recap: Yulee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Yulee entered their game against Wolfson on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Wolfpack. The Hornets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolfpack apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2015.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.

Jasmine Douglas paced Yulee's offense, picking up 13 kills. Douglas got some help from Rylee Corcoran and her 19 assists. Douglas also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaveri Harris, racking up two apiece.

Wolfson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Carter Rowell, who had six digs and three aces. Rowell is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 24 every time she's taken the court this season. Mae Abernathy was another key player, getting 11 kills and ten digs.

Yulee's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Wolfson, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Yulee has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Fletcher on the 17th. As for Wolfson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against ED White on the 16th.
