Baseball Recap: Northview Victorious

Century typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Northview proved too difficult a challenge. They skirted past the Centurions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since February 24, 2024.

The win got Northview back to even at 7-7-1. As for Century, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northview will be taking part in a tournament against Peninsula at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. The Vikings are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Century, they will take on Covina in a tournament on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Centurions 2.5, the Colts 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
