Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Archbishop Carroll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. Mary's Ryken Knights. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9, 25-8.

Archbishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for St. Mary's Ryken, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Archbishop Carroll will challenge rival St. John's at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, St. Mary's Ryken is set to take on their familiar foe Bishop O'Connell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
