Baseball Recap: Concord Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Salem, Concord was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Merrimack Tomahawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The Crimson Tide haven't had any issues with the Tomahawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Concord's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Merrimack, they dropped their record down to 2-11-1 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Concord is set to face off against their familiar foe Spaulding at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Merrimack will challenge rival Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
