Softball Recap: Edgewood Beats Grand Valley for Their Third Straight Victory

Edgewood never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Grand Valley Mustangs. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by ten runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Edgewood's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.0 runs over those games. As for Grand Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewood will welcome Streetsboro at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Grand Valley, they will be playing at home against Conneaut at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
