The Carlynton Cougars were the 50-43 winner over the Sto-Rox Vikings when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Carlynton took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sto-Rox. Carlynton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carlynton's lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jaydin Mcknight, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals. Justin Williams was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.

Carlynton has fallen quite a ways from their 19-8 record last season and are now at 1-2. As for Sto-Rox, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlynton will take on Burgettstown at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sto-Rox, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nazareth Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
