Baseball Game Preview: Bowie Bears vs. Irvin Rockets

For the second straight game, Bowie will face off against Irvin. The Bears will face off against the Rockets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bowie has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Irvin will come in with three straight victories.

On Friday, Bowie came up short against Irvin and fell 8-3.

For Irvin's part, Anthony Badajosa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Badajosa also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Irvin is 8-3 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-9-1 otherwise. Badajosa was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That stolen base was his first of the season.
