Basketball Recap: Carter County Finds Playoff Glory Versus Terry

With a playoff win on the line, Carter County rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 61-54 victory over the Terry Terriers. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Terriers back in February, they had to take a 59-42 defeat.

Carter County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points over those games. Terry's loss dropped their record down to 19-3.

Carter County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 45-43 win against Garfield County on the 8th. Terry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
