Volleyball Recap: Lynchburg Homeschool Falls to Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association in First Game of Season

Lynchburg HomeSchool unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association on Friday. Lynchburg HomeSchool has struggled against Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-4, 25-13, 24-26, 25-15.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association can attribute much of their success to Emma Smith, who had 19 assists and three aces. That's the most assists Smith has posted since back in September of 2024.

Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynchburg HomeSchool will challenge Southwest Virginia Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association, they will square off against Brunswick Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
