Soccer Game Preview: Forest Park vs. Woodbridge

The Forest Park Bruins will venture away from home to square off against the Woodbridge Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Last Thursday, Forest Park got the win against Hylton by a conclusive 6-1. The result was nothing new for Forest Park, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Hylton with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caelyn Jimenez (2), Charlotte Bobeck (2), Payton Kopaniasz, and Cayla Pettyjohn.

Meanwhile, Woodbridge kept a clean sheet against Hylton last Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Bulldogs. Woodbridge have beaten Hylton the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Hylton has come to flipping the script.

Woodbridge's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Forest Park, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
