Volleyball Recap: Berkshire Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Berkshire couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Nordonia Knights on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Badgers have suffered since March 22nd.

Berkshire moved to 16-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Nordonia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Berkshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now. After both having extra time off, Nordonia and Mt. Vernon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
