Eastern Hancock extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping their season record down to 1-4 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of the Triton Central Tigers. On the bright side, the ten- run effort marked the Royals' highest-scoring contest to date.

Hayden Rouse was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs and six RBI while going 2-for-2. Jalen Helderbrand also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Coming up, Eastern Hancock will be playing at home against Daleville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Triton Central, they will venture away from home to take on Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
