Bloomington South had won five straight road games dating back to last season and Shaun Cooper did his part to make it six on Friday. The Panthers blew past the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves, posting a 49-14 victory with plenty of help from Cooper, who rushed for 241 yards and five scores while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 11 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Bloomington South didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Sam Giles, Rylan Stikeleather, and Noah Knepper picked up one apiece. Bloomington South got some further help from Ian Quick: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Bloomington South's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2.

Bloomington South has already played their next game, a 54-7 victory against Southport on the 26th. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-26 win against Northview on the 26th.
