Basketball Recap: Pittsfield Takes a Loss

After flying high against Brattleboro last Wednesday, Pittsfield came back down to earth. The Pittsfield Generals took a 71-57 bruising from the Taconic Thunder on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-47 on January 6th.

Pittsfield has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for Taconic, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Agawam the next time they take the court. Pittsfield will head out to face Agawam at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Taconic will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 31st.
