Football Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Lutheran lost against Oakland Christian back in September of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell 20-14 to the Lancers.

Oakland Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colin Kolb, who rushed for 118 yards and one TD, and also threw for 56 yards and one touchdown. The Lancers' leading receiver Jake Brock was Kolb's top target yet again, picking up 18 receiving yards.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Oakland Christian, their record now sits at 3-1.

Coming up, Lutheran will venture away from home to take on Whitmore Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakland Christian, they will welcome Benton Harbor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
