Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bellamie Stritt and Caitlyn Adams Lead Southwest to Victory

Southwest won the last time they faced Sutherland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Roughriders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Sailors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Roughriders.

Southwest easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8.

Leading Southwest to victory were Caitlyn Adams and Bellamie Stritt. Adams had seven digs and five assists, while Stritt had five digs. Those five assists gave Adams a new career-high.

Southwest's record now sits at 14-1. As for Sutherland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Southwest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hitchcock County on the 27th. As for Sutherland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Hyannis on the 27th.
