Baseball Recap: Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buccaneers of the 7-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Waterville-Elysian-Morristown's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hayfield at 4:30 p.m. As for Kenyon-Wanamingo, they will head out to face off against Goodhue at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
