Volleyball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short on the Road Against Dallas County

Southside kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Dallas County Hornets, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 27-25, 25-17.

The win got Dallas County back to even at 1-1.

While Southside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
