Baseball Recap: Amber-Pocasset Takes a Loss

If Amber-Pocasset was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Hammon on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Amber-Pocasset fell just short of the Ripley Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Amber-Pocasset's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Ripley, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Amber-Pocasset wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-0 victory against Sterling on the 22nd. As for Ripley, they will challenge Mulhall-Orlando at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Ripley's pitchers better be ready for this one: Mulhall-Orlando has averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
