Volleyball Recap: Ridley Raiders vs. Coatesville Red Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Strath Haven, Ridley was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Coatesville Red Raiders as they made off with a 3-0 victory.
Ridley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Coatesville between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.
Ryleigh Hagerty was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.
Hagerty wasn't the only good servers: Ridley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matches.
