The Rancho Bernardo Broncos will host the Brawley Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Rancho Bernardo is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Mt. Carmel 49-0. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Sundevils are ranked 246th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rancho Bernardo to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Kaelin, who rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards Kaelin has posted since back in September.

Meanwhile, Brawley waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Spartans to the tune of 54-0. That 54 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Sergio Garcia continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, picking up 150 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Moreno, who gained 57 total yards and two touchdowns.

Brawley wouldn't let Central keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Brawley can thank Matthew Gutierrez and Kevin Valenzuela for forcing both of them.

Brawley pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.9 points per game. As for Rancho Bernardo, their record is now 8-2.
