Softball Recap: Long Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Long and Blacksher squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Long had to settle for second. They lost 14-4 to the Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Monday.

Long's loss dropped their record down to 39-14. As for Blacksher, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 26-15.

Long has already played their next matchup, a 17-0 victory against Washington County on the 6th. As for Blacksher, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Ariton on the 6th.
