Scout Gilfillan turned in nothing short of a gem on Wednesday, striking out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off five hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fifth in a row with more than six strikeouts. For the year, he has an ERA of 1.11 over 25.3 innings pitched.
