Softball Recap: Kaiser Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Kaiser, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-9 victory over the Jurupa Hills Spartans on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cats considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Aaliyah Davis, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, five RBI, and one stolen base. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Alyssa Montoya was another key player, going 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Kaiser's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Jurupa Hills, they dropped their record down to 10-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Kaiser nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
