Basketball Recap: Okay Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hulbert

There's no place like home for Okay, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They were the clear victor by a 53-27 margin over the Hulbert Riders on Thursday. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Hulbert saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brooke-Lynne Norton posted 13 points.

Okay's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Hulbert, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Okay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-28 win against Gore on the 17th. As for Hulbert, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 41-25 defeat against Oktaha on the 17th.
