Chesnee came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Blacksburg Wildcats 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.
The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-20.
Dacie Green paced Chesnee's offense, picking up 11 kills. Green also shared the team's lead in assists with Abbie Olson: they picked up 16 each. Payden Pitman controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Chesnee's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Blacksburg, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesnee will take on Chapman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blacksburg, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
