Basketball Game Preview: East Dubuque Warriors vs. Galena Pirates

East Dubuque is 0-10 against Galena since February of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The East Dubuque Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Galena Pirates at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

East Dubuque is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Warren: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that East Dubuque blew Warren out of the water with a 51-21 final score. East Dubuque has beaten Warren the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Warren has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Galena was fully in charge on Monday, breezing past Warren 43-16. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Warriors are ranked 506th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
