While Booker T. Washington-Shreveport's victory against Bossier wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Lions made off with a 42-41 win over the Bearkats. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Bearkats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Booker T. Washington-Shreveport's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tray Moore, who picked up 190 receiving yards and three TDs. Moore showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 69 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Devion Stewart, who threw for 422 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt.

Booker T. Washington-Shreveport's record is now 3-1. As for Bossier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Booker T. Washington-Shreveport will venture away from home to face off against North DeSoto at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Griffins have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Bossier, they will head out on the road to square off against Southwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
