Soccer Recap: KIPP Global Comes Up Short

KIPP Global lost against Independence Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Huskies came up short against the Lions, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, KIPP Global can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 191st, while Independence Academy are ranked 42nd).

KIPP Global has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Independence Academy, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1.

KIPP Global does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Independence Academy has already played their next game (against Stem Preparatory Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
