Football Recap: Central Columbia Takes a Loss

Central Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Mifflinburg Wildcats 65-3. The Bluejays were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-0.

Central Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mifflinburg, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Central Columbia is taking a road trip to face off against Warrior Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Defenders will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bluejays surely won't give up without a fight. As for Mifflinburg, they will host Midd-West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.13 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
