Soccer Recap: Tranquillity Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mendota, Tranquillity was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Laton Mustangs onto the board and left with an 8-0 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Tranquillity has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four contests. As for Laton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tranquillity will face off against Firebaugh at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Tranquillity is facing Firebaugh at the right time seeing as Firebaugh is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Laton, it'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Laton take on the Coast Union at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
