Soccer Game Preview: Troy Christian vs. Greenon

The Troy Christian Eagles will face off against the Greenon Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Troy Christian is headed into the matchup having not lost since August 19 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Yellow Springs get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory on Thursday. It was an even better day for Mikey Berner as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Greenon's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They put the hurt on Greeneview with a sharp 3-0 win.

Troy Christian pushed their record up to 12-1-3 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those seven contests. As for Greenon, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

Troy Christian beat Greenon by a goal when the teams last played back in October of 2024, winning 1-0. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
