Basketball Recap: Waukesha North Comes Up Short

Waukesha North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 56-35 to the Kettle Moraine Lasers. While losing is never fun, the Northstars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Lasers are ranked 50th).

Waukesha North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Kettle Moraine, their victory bumped their record up to 14-8.

Coming up, Waukesha North will look to defend their home court on Monday against Watertown at 7:00 p.m. As for Kettle Moraine, they will square off against Mukwonago at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
