Football Recap: Canyon Lake Hawks vs. Davenport Wolves

After flying high against Uvalde two weeks ago, Canyon Lake came back down to earth. The Hawks had to suffer through a 46-14 loss at the hands of the Davenport Wolves. The Hawks have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Canyon Lake still got an impressive performance from Jace Wheeler, who threw for 232 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 39 yards and one touchdown.

While Canyon Lake came up short, they sure didn't make it easy for Davenport: they limited their QB to completion percentage of just 48.1%.
