Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Ridgeview Mustangs and fell 68-35. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 57-18 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Calvary Christian Academy now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Ridgeview, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy and Quad Cities Christian will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Quad Cities Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Ridgeview will take on Gardner-South Wilmington in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
