Softball Recap: Blount Comes Up Short

The Blount Leopards lost 20-2 to the Davidson Warriors on Friday. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabrielle Adams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Destynee Chambers also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Blount's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Davidson, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Blount will venture away from home to challenge Vigor at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Blount is facing Vigor at the right time seeing as Vigor is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Davidson, they will welcome St. Michael Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
