Branson had to settle for second on Thursday, but Grayson Roberts sure wasn't going down easily. Roberts struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off one hit. The effort also marked the fewest walks (three) he has had since back in May of 2025.

Roberts and Branson will challenge Redwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
