Preview: Eldorado Golden Eagles vs. Piedra Vista Panthers

Eldorado scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They really took it to Highland for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-49 win at home. Given Eldorado's advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Highland is ranked 48th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bella Hines was her usual excellent self, shooting 6-for-8 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 40 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Eldorado's points. Chioma Holyfield was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Piedra Vista earned a 36-23 win over Aztec on Saturday.
