Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Alta

Skyline is 2-7 against Alta since May of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Skyline is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They beat Northridge by a goal, winning 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Skyline.

Grayson Orum and Nick Ware scored all three of Skyline's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Alta got the win against Spanish Fork on Tuesday by a conclusive 6-1. Considering Alta have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alta's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Skyline, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Skyline might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Alta when the teams last played back in April. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
