Softball Preview: Hillsdale Fighting Knights vs. King's Academy Knights

The Hillsdale Fighting Knights will face off against the King's Academy Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.

Hillsdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Woodside with a sharp 12-2 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Fighting Knights considering their one-run performance the matchup before.

Lola Jones was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run and four RBI.
