Brazosport came tearing into Friday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Royal Falcons 75-57. Given the Exporters' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Falcons are ranked 743rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brazosport's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Royal, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brazosport and Rudder will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Royal will take on Bay City in a holiday battle at 1:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
