Softball Recap: Morris Catholic Comes Up Short

Morris Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-4 to The Pingry School Big Blue.

Natalie Carovillano made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Carnivale, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.

Morris Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for The Pingry School, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Looking ahead, Morris Catholic will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mount St. Dominic Academy at 4:00 p.m. The Pingry School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
