Basketball Recap: Golden Plains Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Golden Plains won the last time they faced Hill City and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Plains Bulldogs took down the Hill City Ringnecks 34-19. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Hill City lost, don't look at Rylie Minium. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That was a full 68.4% of Hill City's points, marking the 12th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Golden Plains' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points over those games. As for Hill City, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.
