Volleyball Game Preview: Pleasant Spartans vs. Huron Tigers

The Pleasant Spartans will face off against the Huron Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pleasant sitting on five straight victories and Huron on nine.

Pleasant is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Willard.

Pleasant got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 31-33, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Huron made easy work of Eastwood on Wednesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Huron not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Eastwood between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

Pleasant better focus on containing Adelyn Van Sickle and Avery Bork as the pair were huge in Huron's win. Van Sickle had 15 digs and four assists, while Bork had five digs. That's the most assists Van Sickle has posted over her last six matchups.

Huron's win bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Pleasant, their victory bumped their record up to 25-1.
