Basketball Recap: Hay Springs Skates Past Morrill with Ease + How To Watch

Hay Springs lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Morrill, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Hawks blew past the Lions 63-16 on Tuesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 45-9.

Hay Springs found their leader in sophomore Hunter Theis, who shot 47% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Arian Mata, who posted ten points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Hay Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Morrill only posted five.

The win got Hay Springs back to even at 1-1. As for Morrill, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
