Softball Recap: St. Francis DeSales Takes a Loss

St. Francis DeSales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-3 to the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

St. Francis DeSales' loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis DeSales will host Bishop Hartley at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 10.6 runs per game this season. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
