Football Recap: Academy of the New Church Takes a Loss

Academy of the New Church was the 35-6 winner over Bristol when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Lions were beaten by the Warriors 42-6 on Friday. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Academy of the New Church's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Bristol, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Academy of the New Church will host Morrisville at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Bristol, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Garden Spot at 7:00 p.m.
