Aaron Stewart Delivers Electric Effort Vs Mundelein
Starting off the list is Warren Township's Aaron Stewart, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Stewart rushed for 247 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 149 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Stewart must have Mundelein's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Maddux Hermestroff posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended a pass. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.
Mundelein is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3. Hermestroff and Mundelein will head out on the road to challenge Lake Zurich at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Quinn Schambow was instrumental in extending Libertyville's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Schambow as he threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Schambow must have Waukegan's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Schambow threw for 287 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.7 yards per attempt the last time he and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September of 2023.
