Baseball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Brandeis on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-2 to the Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 9-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

This is the second loss in a row for Johnson and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Brandeis, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

While Johnson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
